“The Dyslexia Decode: Brain Science, Behaviors & Support”
Dyslexia is often misunderstood — and that uncertainty can leave families feeling lost. In this informative and empowering talk, Dr. Adams will break down what current brain science tells us about reading differences, how dyslexia shows up in children, and what families can do to provide meaningful support at home and in school. Attendees will come away with practical tools to better understand their child’s learning profile and to advocate for effective accommodations and interventions.

About Dr. Adams
Dr. Liz Adams is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and owner of Minnesota Neuropsychology. She completed her PhD at Fuller Graduate School in Los Angeles, clinical training at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, a residency in neuropsychology at Rush University Medical Center, and a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Adams is passionate about communicating complex topics clearly and hosts her presentations in a comfortable, approachable manner.
