With back-to-school around the corner, Dr. Liz Adams shares her expertise with parents, educators, interventionists, tutors, administrators, and advocates. This online seminar is titled, “Inside the Dyslexic Brain: A Neuropsychologist’s Guide to Dyslexia and Effective Intervention.” Dr. Adams discusses how the brain learns to read; the genetic and neurobiological basis of dyslexia; Structured Literacy intervention; practical accommodations for school and home; and how to talk with children about their diagnosis. It’s sure to be an informative and engaging online session

About Dr. Adams

Dr. Liz Adams is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and owner of Minnesota Neuropsychology. She completed her PhD at Fuller Graduate School in Los Angeles, clinical training at UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Institute, a residency in neuropsychology at Rush University Medical Center, and a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Adams is passionate about communicating complex topics clearly and hosts her presentations in a comfortable, approachable manner.
