Minneapolis students share pandemic struggles through Story Booth

December 14, 2021

Dr. Adams is thrilled to have had the opportunity to support The Wildling in this recent article in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, describing an exciting new project called the Story Booth.

At Minnesota Neuropsychology, we're always looking for opportunities to support students with learning differences. We often talk about giving students with ADHD or Dyslexia opportunities to share their stories and ideas aloud, when the traditional process of writing limits the expression of ideas. "Write with your voice," says Dr. Adams. The Wildling, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit, provides exactly this type of opportunity, by building confidence in middle school students through live storytelling in a supportive environment.
