Session on ADHD in Girls

October 26, 2021

ADHD can look different in girls than it does in boys. Girls with ADHD are often overlooked and struggle in silence. In this session, neuropsychologist, Dr. Liz Adams, reviews some reasons why ADHD is often missed among girls, the biology behind ADHD including brain science and hormones, and signs and symptoms to watch for so that girls can get the support they need early on to harness their superpowers and nurture a positive self-image.

Session was held September 29, 2021, and hosted by South Washington County School District.
